Handbook 2008-the handbook is a compilation of NMIT's course brochures in one book for easy reference. The course brochures have been grouped into 'like' areas and have all the detail you need about a course. Ranging from entrance requirements, to pathway options to a course outline. The handbook is designed so that each course page can easily be photocopied and passed on to students. The brochure/handbook information is also on the NMIT website. Just follow the links from Courses to the specific course you are interested in. Sections of the handbook can be downloaded from NMIT's website.

Handbook 2008
The A-Z of courses for Early School Leavers at NMIT 2008 - with another psychedelic cover it certainly catches your eye. This brochure has been very successful since it changed its format in 2004. Its focus is on early school leavers and is aimed directly at them. An early school leaver is not only a 16 year old who is thinking about leaving school now, but also an adult who left school before finishing year 12 no matter how long ago it was. A diagram of possible pathway options very clearly shows that leaving school early does not mean the end of education and training options. We also introduce the NMIT early school leavers symbol-'a clock', showing 2pm, approximately an hour before school finishes! This symbol will be used on all NMIT publications where relevant to identify that the course is suitable for early school leavers. You can see it in the current handbook.
