| Course Description
This course is designed to develop the skills and knowledge to support the on-site training of registered trainees within the caravan manufacturing industry.
Students undertake training in various skill areas which include but are not limited to caravan industry knowledge, occupational health and safety, plan interpretation, safe use of hand and power tools, basic welding, safe operation of plant and equipment and caravan construction processes.

| Career Opportunities
Graduates of this course may wish to continue employment as a qualified trades person or undertake further studies for the purpose of securing a supervisory position within the manufacturing or servicing sectors of the caravan industry.

Part-time: Two years (691 hours)

Applicants must be registered as a trainee/apprentice in this qualification.

Assessment for this course is competency based. Students have the opportunity to demonstrate competence by satisfactorily completing the specified theory based tasks and practical projects.

As part of the Australian Qualifications Framework this program is nationally recognised. On successful completion students will be awarded the Certificate III in Recreational Vehicle Manufacturing.
