| Course Description
This course is designed to link theory with practice and aims

|
| Career Opportunities
By 2007, all Department of Human Services funded organisations
require employees who work with AOD issues to have an accredited
AOD qualification.
|
| Course Duration
The course is
delivered over 12 months part-time and is a fast-tracked industry course. Classroom teaching occurs on Wednesday afternoons (2-5pm) and evenings (5:30-8:30pm).
The mode of delivery is fleximode where most assessment tasks can be
completed on the job, which reduces the number of hours students are
required to attend classes. Fleximode delivery is available only to
students who are working in an appropriate workplace that will enable
them to complete assessment tasks on the job.
