| Former students of the NMIT Music Department are finding success within the industry on a number of different levels. Apart from the many that have gone on to create for themselves secure and successful careers many have become established as leaders and have experienced popular and critical acknowledgement on both a national and international level.
Chris Lewis and presently John O'Hagan have musically directed the internationally acclaimed "Circus Oz"; Edmond Ammendola, David Williams and Adam Donovan are founding and present members of the evocative and popular band "Augie March"; Marcel Yammouni is currently musical director of Vanessa Amorosi; and more recent students Finley Francois, Jason Ogg and Paul Carey are founding and present members of hip hop band "Fizard" who earlier in 2003 supported one of hip hop's original creators Grand Master Flash's Australian tour.
As we continue to develop and improve be sure to hear and see more of our past students as they become household names in our evolving Australian culture.
