Pathways to Further Study

Students who wish to continue their studies can articulate into the Advanced Diploma of Tourism at NMIT and obtain that qualification after successfully completing the required units. A further six months of study is required to obtain this qualification.

Students who wish to continue their studies at university after successfully completing diploma/advanced diploma qualifications are eligible to articulate to a university course and obtain substantial credits toward a tourism degree program. NMIT graduates are currently continuing their studies at a range of universities in Victoria.

Completing a diploma/advanced diploma program at NMIT prior to commencing a university degree program is a wise decision as considerable (HECS) savings are achieved by obtaining substantial (diploma/advanced diploma) credits.
