Students

Centre of Excellence Courses

The Centre of Excellence offers classes through the Vocational Pathways department of NMIT.

Admission to all classes is subject to an interview, to ensure the student is appropriate for the class. In 2008, the Centre is teaching:

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment

Successful completion of this course will provide you with the qualifications required to work in Victorian TAFE institutes as well as for private registered training authorities.

Fee for Service Courses

In addition to the ongoing classes, the Centre is able to run additional tailored courses to meet an expressed need. For example we have run in the past:

  • Bilingual Bicultural Teaching Methodology
  • Managing Your own Club
  • Working Effectively with Families and Friends of Deaf Children (Working with Small Groups)
