Course Description

This two year course covers building theory and practice related to low rise buildings in first year and residential, industrial and commercial buildings in second year. Skills taught include plan interpretation, drafting, quantities take-off, estimating, construction technology, site supervision, tendering, planning and scheduling, management, cost control and quality management.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of these courses may gain employment at a para-professional level within the building industry.

Entrance Requirements

Australian Year 12 (or recognised equivalent) or relevant work experience. IELTS 5.5 or higher (or recognised equivalents). Mature Age.
