Course Description

This two year course provides students with extensive training and a sound business education for those seeking employment in the area of office administration, office supervision or as a senior executive secretary. It enables students to acquire high level skills in current office technologies.

Seek employment in a business or office environment, in the roles of personal/administrative/ clerical assistant, private secretary, computer/word processor operator, receptionist. Seek advanced standing into a degree course at university.

Assessment Methods

Assessment for this course is competency based. Competencies can be assessed in a variety of ways including tests, practical exercises, case studies, demonstrations, observation, role plays or assignments.

Materials

Students will be required to purchase prescribed text books and other materials as detailed in the Office Administration Department booklist.

Qualification

As part of the Australian Qualifications Framework this program is nationally recognised. On successful completion students will be awarded the Diploma of Business Administration.
