This two year course is designed to provide the foundation skills for a career in the management, supervision and operation of marketing activities in the international arena. The course covers international marketing, strategic planning, cultural difference, finance, shipping and the legal/insurance aspects of business activities between companies in different countries.

Materials

Students will be required to purchase prescribed text books and other materials as detailed in the Commerce Department booklist.

Qualification

Year 1
As part of the Australian Qualifications Framework this program is nationally recognised. On successful completion of the above Certificate IV subjects PLUS an Industry Project, students will be awarded the Certificate IV in Business (International Trade).

Year 2
As part of the Australian Qualifications Framework this program is nationally recognised. On successful completion of the above Certificate IV and Diploma subjects PLUS an Industry Project, students will be awarded the Diploma of Business (International Trade).

Stage 4
As part of the Australian Qualifications Framework this program is nationally recognised. On successful completion of the above Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma subjects PLUS an Industry Project (incorporated into Research & Report on an Import or Export Venture), students will be awarded the Advanced Diploma of Business (International Business).
