Employment & Qualification Record Check
In making your application for a position at Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE (NMIT) you are agreeing to:
a) NMIT checking your work experience over the last five (5) years;
b)
provide to the Human Resources Department an original document validating each post-secondary qualification claimed in your application if you are short listed. In general this will require an academic record or transcript of results of your studies and is to be provided any time prior to the interview. If applying for a teaching position you will also be required, for salary purposes, to complete the NMIT Qualifications & Previous Employment Declaration form and provide statements of service covering any industrial and/or teaching experience claimed.
c) Provide, if you are the selected applicant and accept the position, to the Human Resources Department a receipt which verifies you have applied for a Working with Children Check or production of a Working with Children Check card. Note the telephone number to be entered on Question 12 of the application is (03) 9269 1261.
