AUTOCAD Release 2008 - courses.
The Heidelberg Campus of NMIT is an approved AUTODESK Training Centre (ATC).
NMIT has multiple CAD studios fully networked. Training will be delivered on powerful new personal computer workstations with 17" screens. Courses are generally run on the basis of 8, 4 hourly sessions. The level 1 course can be used to claim some exemptions from the National Module 2D CAD VBP235. Advanced training is available in 3 Dimensional Modelling.
AutoCAD is a computer modelling package capable of producing 2D wire frame and 3D solid models.
The software sets an industry standard and is suitable for many drafting applications. AutoCAD is frequently used for mechanical, architectural, civil, electrical, fluid power, landscape, marine, aerospace and manufacturing drawings.
Level 1 and Level 2 courses use the current release of AutoCAD.
