The Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) - Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 training program is designed for advanced users, technicians, and system administrators with the goal of Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)certification.

The content of the training program is designed to prepare students for the Microsoft MCP exam.

  • Designing, Deploying, and Managing a Network Solution for a Small - and Medium - Sized Business (exam# 70-282)
  • designing a business network solution
  • installing and upgrading to Windows Small Business Server 2003
  • configuring Small Business Server 2003 by completeing the to-do list
  • managing, messaging and collaboration in Small Business Server 2003
  • managing and monitoring Windows Small Business Server 2003
  • installing and upgrading to Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition
  • configuring Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition
  • securing a Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition Network
  • managing Windows Server 2003, Standard Edition

This course prepares students for the Microsoft Designing, Deploying, and Managing a Network Solution for a Small - and Medium-Sized Business MCP exam (# 70-282). Sucessfully passing this exam will provide the student with the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification (Designing, Deploying, and Managing a Network Solution for a Small - and Medium-Sized Business), and can be used as the required elective credit towards either an MCSA, or MCSE certification.
